South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy

Annotation: The South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy (SC Campaign) was founded in 1994 to combat increasingly high rates of teen pregnancy in all 46 counties in the state. Through mission based focus areas of training & technical assistance, public awareness & advocacy and research & evaluation; the objective is to build the capacity of local communities to address teen pregnancy within their own neighborhoods. Staff instructs and assists community leaders to help teens make smarter decisions about reproductive health, trains youth-serving professionals, initiates communication within families, and advocates for grassroots programs that will educate and empower teens. SC Campaign's campaign website, Not Right Now, provides information for teens and parents.
