Directory of Health and Human Services Data Resources

Annotation: The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is responsible for the federal government's health, welfare, and income security plans and programs. The department administers the Public Health Service (including the Health Resources and Services Administration, the National Institutes of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, among other agencies.

Oregon Center for Children and Youth with Special Health Needs (OCCYSHN)

Annotation: OCCYSHN is Oregon’s Title V program for children and youth with special health needs funded by the federal Maternal Child Health Bureau, through a grant which is administered through the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center at Oregon Health and Sciences University. The Center works to promote coordinated, family-centered, community-based systems of care; provide policy and program development, population-based assessment and surveillance, and leadership for health systems and services in Oregon.

U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA)

Annotation: The Social Security Administration (SSA) administers the federal government's social security programs, including retirement benefits, disability benefits, survivors' benefits, and Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Publications are available on the Web site; some are available in Arabic, Armenian, Chinese, Farsi, French, Greek, Haitian Creole, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
