Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)

Annotation: The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) works to ensure and enhance the quality of social work education for a professional practice that promotes individual, family and community well-being, and social and economic justice. CSWE pursues this mission by setting and maintaining national accreditation standards for baccalaureate and master's degree programs in social work, by promoting faculty development, and by advocating for social work education and research. The Council sponsors an annual conference and publishes a member newsletter, peer-reviewed journals, books, a catalog, and other educational and research materials.

The MCH Digital Library is one of six special collections at Geogetown University, the nation's oldest Jesuit institution of higher education.
