Pacific Post Partum Support Society (PPPSS)

Annotation: The Pacific Post Partum Support Society offers support services for anyone experiencing isolation, anxiety, or depression during the perinatal period, or supporting someone who is. The Society promotes awareness of perinatal depression and hosts workshops, training sessions, and community events for parents and care providers. Resources include a podcast series, videos, a self-help guide for mothers, and a reference manual for group facilitators. Some materials are available in Chinese, Spanish, French, Punjabi and Hindi.

Postpartum Progress

Annotation: Postpartum Progress is a national nonprofit focused on improving support for women with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. The website offers information and community for pregnant and new moms with postpartum depression and other mental illnesses related to pregnancy and childbirth including postpartum anxiety, postpartum obsessive compulsive disorder, depression during pregnancy, post-adoption depression, postpartum post-traumatic stress syndrome, depression after miscarriage or perinatal loss, and postpartum psychosis. The organization produces a blog to raise awareness, fight stigma, and provide peer support to women with maternal mental illness.

Postpartum Support International (PSI)

Annotation: Postpartum Support, International (PSI) focuses on the mental health and social support needs of pregnant and postpartum women worldwide. The organization works to increase public and professional awareness of the emotional changes women often experience during pregnancy and after the birth of a baby. PSI provides referrals, information, and resources for women and families, as well as training and education for professionals.
