American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM)

Annotation: The American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM) is the professional organization for nurse-midwives in the United States. Its mission is to support midwives, advance the practice of midwifery, and achieve optimal, equitable health outcomes for the people and communities midwives serve. The organization provides professional practice materials, continuing education opportunities, and legislative updates. The peer-reviewed Journal of Nurse-Midwifery and Women's Health is ACNM's official journal.

The MCH Digital Library is one of six special collections at Geogetown University, the nation's oldest Jesuit institution of higher education.
