Gay Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA)

Annotation: The Gay Lesbian Medical Association (GLMA), formerly the American Association of Physicians for Human Rights, works to maximize the quality of health services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and to foster a professional climate in which diverse members are encouraged to reach their full potential. GLMA offers continuing education opportunities; funds research; advocates for administrative and legislative changes; offers online health care referrals, and produces publications, including the Journal of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association.
