American Health Care Association (AHCA)

National Organization on Disability (N.O.D.)

Annotation: The National Organization on Disability (N.O.D.) is a national advocacy group working to improve opportunities for Americans with every kind of disability. Particular areas of focus include employment, technology, housing, religious participation, emergency preparedness, and access to healthcare and other services. Local governments are encouraged to join N.O.D.'s Community Partnership Program to engage with citizens with disabilities to maximize their potential to participate and contribute to their communities. U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Disability Employment Policy ( )

Annotation: The U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy, formerly, the President's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities, promotes job opportunities for people with disabilities. The office responds to inquiries, produces publications, conducts public awareness campaigns, and provides technical assistance on disability employment issues.
