International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN)

Annotation: The International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1982 that works to prevent unnecessary cesarean births and to promote vaginal birth after cesarean delivery. Several U.S. chapters provide local support. ICAN sponsors conferences and provides information, resources, encouragement and support for consumers and professionals. ICAN maintains a listserv and publishes a quarterly newsletter, The Clarion.
