Association of Professional Piercers (APP)

Annotation: The Association of Professional Piercers (APP) is an international non-profit association dedicated to the dissemination of health and safety information related to body piercing to piercers, health professionals, and the general public. The APP Web site contains facts about body piercing and information on piercing care, troubleshooting, finding an APP member, and choosing a piercing professional. The APP produces educational materials, including manuals, posters, and brochures; publishes the journal, The Point, which features letters from readers and information on technique, after care, new products, jewelry, legislation, business news, and classifieds; and hosts an annual conference.
