American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP)

Annotation: The American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) is a medical specialty society of physicians, surgeons, allied health professionals, and academicians who specialize in diseases of the chest: pulmonology, cardiology, cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery, hypertension, critical care medicine, and related disciplines. AACP promotes the prevention and treatment of diseases of the chest through leadership, education, research, and communication. The college sponsors an annual meeting, offers CME courses, publishes a journal, provides online resources, and advocates for improved health care services.

Sex and Gender Women's Health Collaborative (SGWHC)

Annotation: The Sex and Gender Women's Health Collaborative (SGWHC, formerly the Advancing Women's Health Initiative) is dedicated to sex and gender evidence-based care to promote health and improve disease outcomes. The collaborative was launched on March 7, 2013, to accelerate the integration of sex and gender influences into medical education and clinical training. The website contains medical education curricula and teaching tools for medical students, nurse practitioners/nurses, and allied health faculty and practitioners to foster sex and gender sensitivity in delivering optimal care for all.
