Annotation: This video discusses the American Dental Association’s recommendations for use of silver diamine fluoride (SDF). It shows a dentist conducting an oral exam on a young child and discusses considerations for using SDF to arrest carious lesions. The video also shares the importance of presenting other options, obtaining informed consent, and discussing the results of SDF with patients or parents of children.
