Annotation: This booklet discusses the Ohio State University Education in Medical Dietetics program, a curriculum that integrates classroom theory with clinical experience within hospitals and also educates a medical dietitian in a shorter period of time than does the traditional system. Topic covered include (1) why and how the prototype was established at Ohio State, (2) resources and planning for a medical dietetics program, (3) the curriculum and its interpretation, (4) student recruitment, student costs, and job placements, and (5) reprise.
