Annotation: This document consists primarily of a 52-page narrative describing the association's activities between 1944 and 1960. It also includes 9 exhibits dated 1944-1945 that include the organization's constitution and letters related to its activities. An addendum dated 3/10/89 at the beginning of the file lists the officers and other members of the executive council from 1944 through 1963 and the presidents from 1964 through 1989.

Topics include (1) increasing awareness of adolescent health within Title V programs; (2) addressing adolescent health from a resiliency/asset approach; and (3) strengthening the capacity of Title V programs in state health agencies to partner with school and other organizations to prevent behaviors that place adolescents at risk for HIV, STDs, unintended pregnancy, and other significant health problems.
