Annotation: This report is intended to assist advocates in capitalizing on information in a 2018 Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services information bulletin that explains how state agencies administering Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program can better address children’s oral health needs. The report explains why the bulletin is important and discusses opportunities to improve oral health care for children. Strategies for implementing change are discussed, and a checklist for advocates is provided.
