The Child Trends Databank offers data briefs, a newsletter, and What Works, which contains information for indicators about the types of programs and interventions that may influence particular outcomes for children and adolescents. Child Trends is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization providing research and data to inform decision-making that affects children and adolescents. |

| Data2010: The Healthy People 2010 Database Comprises an interactive database for tracking the 467 objectives and 28 focus areas of Healthy People 2010, our national health promotion and disease prevention initiative. Database users may sort the data by focus areas, objectives, or by demographic categories such as race, gender, education level, or income. A keyword search is also available. This data set is provided by the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS). The Healthy People 2010 site can also be accessed at Healthy People 2010. |

| National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) Provides a rich source of information about America's health by compiling surveillance data that helps identify and address critical health problems. Pregnancy, birth, infant mortality, and child health data are included along with pediatric growth charts. NCHS also presents statistical fact sheets about health conditions, the health status of the population and important subgroups, and the health care delivery system in addition to information about surveys and data collection systems, such as the Health Data for All Ages Web site and the National Maternal and Infant Health Survey.
