  • Commonwealth Fund: Health Reform Resource Center. Information about the Affordable Care Act. View a timeline of the law's major provisions.

  • Families USA: Resources for Consumers. Information about how to find, choose, and use quality health coverage and cope with medical debt. View state guides to finding health coverage and resources to help you establish eligibility for Medicaid and get Medicaid to cover your health care needs.

  • Family Voices (FV). Resources in English and some in Spanish to help you make informed decisions for your kids and teens with special health care needs; advocate for improved public and private systems and services, such as Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP); and build partnerships with professionals.

  • HealthCare.gov. Information about individual health insurance, Medicaid, CHIP, and the Affordable Care Act for families with children. Use an insurance finder to compare health insurance plans.

  • Insure Kids Now. Information in English and Spanish about Medicaid and CHIP and how to apply for coverage.
